Rutland Organic Poultry
We are licensed by the Soil Association to produce organic free range poultry,
eggs and venison. We rear chickens and geese from day olds. We have our own
breeding flock of turkeys and hatch our own chicks. The birds range over 25
acres of grass with the fallow deer. They are housed in mobile huts and fed an
organic cereal based diet free from antibiotics and growth promoters. The birds
are humanely slaughtered on the farm to reduce transport stress and then hung
in our cold room to develope flavour and tenderness. All our birds are sold with
